Participants with a love for adventure will love this. They will encounter native Caiçara communities and see small fishing villages where men have struck the right balance with nature.

During the trek, the participants will see incredible scenery. They will be treated to the sight of exotic flora and fauna all along the way.

There is a high level of physical activity involved. At the end of each stage, the trekkers can enjoy a restoring meal.

The activity is tiring, but at every stage, the trekkers will look forward to continuing the adventure. When the trek ends, the participants will be filled with and surrounded by the magic of the Ilha Grande.

Location: Trekking around the island, crossing the more important villages and more then 20 beaches

Itinerary

- 1st day - Abraão to Bananal

- 2nd day - Bananal to Araçatiba

- 3rd day - Araçatiba to Aventureiro

- 4th day - Aventureiro to Parnaioca

- 5th day - Parnaioca to Abraão

Cancellation policy

- Cancellations made until 31 days before the check-in date will be refunded 90 % of the price paid on booking.

- Cancellations made until 21 to 30 days before the check-in date will be refunded 80 % of the price paid on booking.

- Cancellations made until 20 days before the check-in date will NOT be refunded. The amount paid may be retained as a credit for future use within one year time period.

- Cancellations will not be accepted on departure day.

- Cancellations can be implemented because of bad weather conditions or other factors unrelated to the guides. In this case the amount paid at booking will be refunded.

Participant Guidelines

The total trekking distance is about 70 km, average of 14 km a day. The maximum altitude is 350 metres.

The trip consists of walking trails that cut off the Atlantic forest, with ascent and descent of hills, crossing streams and beaches and going through villages.

This adventure is not like a walk in the park. Physical preparation is required and it is suggested that the trekkers put in walking for long periods in preparation for this.

Other Disclosures

The trekking starts and ends at Abraão Village, so you must arrive at Abraão Village the day before.

Bring your voucher to the office of your local connection - SW Turismo, located in the commercial condominium 'Buganville' to meet the guide, receive last minute instructions and pay the balance of 70% of the total cost. Office closes at 8:00 PM
